How I can help you
I can help you in the areas of labor, employment, litigation, and commercial law.
My career background includes significant experience practicing law for Black & Decker and its affiliates and subsidiaries worldwide. My realm of responsibility for Black & Decker included legal matters for the board of directors in addition to complex corporate litigation at all levels, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
In the areas of labor and employment, I created employment contracts, confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, indemnification agreements, employee handbooks, human resource policies, discipline and discharge policies, and codes of conduct. I advised on HIPPAA, ERISA, stock option, and employee benefits. I developed and conducted sex harassment avoidance training for all managers in the U.S., Canada and Latin America
With regards to litigation, I tried and defended civil cases, commercial and labor arbitration on wide variety of topics in state and federal courts. And in the area of commercial law, I represented domestic and international businesses in matters such as purchase and sale of businesses, commercial contracts, government contracts, and more. This included training in contract law for the Purchasing Department in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Suzhou.
